F1 is transforming Istanbul to the most exciting city in the world this weekend.
This is the 5th Grand Prix held in Istanbul Park, Turkey in which Massa has won the last three and looking at Ferrari who was the only team challenging Brawn-Mercedes in Monaco he is well capable of pulling the 4th win this week end.
Contrary to Bahrain, Istanbul Park is far more challenging circuit
At the end of P1 on Friday Rosberg set the fastest lap and put himself on top of the chart, but once again he’ll prove to be a non-factor at the end of the Race.
Heiki edged Alonso by fraction of a second and clinched the top position at the end of P2 on Friday. They were the only drivers with lower than 1 min. 29 sec. lap time. I guess Heiki managed to put a smile on McLaren Team’s face. They needed that.
Kubica (Brando’s buddy) was 3rd when P2 was final on Friday.
Kaz headed for 4th which really surprised me, he is lucky I’m not the Team Premier b.c I would fire his a$$ in a flash and if for some political reason there must be a Japanese driver in TOYOTA I would take Sato over Kaz any time.
Here is the time table for this weekend (all times US eastern)
Saturday May -6-2009…….04:00 AM Practice 1 (on SpeedTV)
Saturday May-6-2009……..07:00 AM Qualifying (on SpeedTV)
Sunday May-7-2009…….03:00 PM Formula1 Grand Prix of Turkey (on FOX Sport Delayed)
Sit back and enjoy the exciting race in Istanbul
I hope Massa doesn't gorge himself with those tasty Dunar Kebabs.:D
