LOL sherwin it aint that dangerous that everyone just gets killed willy nilly, dont scare Ali for nothing and you'll be ok at night time too, just make sure Ali if you do want to score some stuff (dont know if you are but if you going to amsterdam I expect you are) to watch out with the shady guys on the streets selling it bc then it can get a bit dangerous at nights and you cant be sure what they are selling you, coffee shop is just a bit safer and you'll know what your getting. Have fun Ali but I dont think that'll be any problem, I dont live in the neighbourhood (I live close to Eindhoven), but I have been to Amsterdam numerous times, but I guess when tourists go there they only think of a couple of things :D

The thing is I dont live in Amsterdam and when I went to Amsterdam I wasnt going for that, you have a coffee shop in every decent sized town anyway. Like I said I advise you to just go to a coffee shop and for directions just ask a cop or something or just young people/students. Cops dont mind you for asking for a coffee shop bc those arent Illegal and they rather have you go to the coffee shop than trying to score late at night, but dont ask for directions to dealers bc they wont like that, you probably wont get arrested even then but dont try and also dont ask them drunk or high already :D but thats commen sense. If you really want to buy it from shady guys, then just ask the students whats the best place is bc I dont know(the people in the coffee shops might even say but I dont know). Anyway I dont know how hard stuff you want bc you cant get everything in coffee shops, just the legal stuff, for example the shrooms are Illegal now. I hope you'll be carefull with the guys selling it on the street if you dont go for the coffee shops bc really they might screw you over (especially if you are a student), with fake product or just with something else in it that may be even more dangerous.

Anyway I'm not that well known with Amsterdam I used to go to different places too, the foreign tourists normally go to those places and of course the peeps in Amsterdam.

Well dude, I hate to break the first piece of bad news to you, but your options for the first thing on your list have been substantially reduced by the new law they passed a while ago. No more shrooms in those freshly packed grocery type containers! :spinface: If interested in clubbing, check out to see if Sensation has any plans for that time period. One of the top clubbing experiences in the world and highly recommended for the elctronic music enthusiasts.

As for the 2nd thing on your list, I heard there's a famous sex club somewhere outside the district. Not sure what it's called, but from what I've been told it's your best and least expensive option for going nuts - no punn intended! ;)

I didn't really like Amsterdam, but didn't go there as a single guy, so the abundance of sex and drugs and not enough rock & roll wasn't something that really appealed to me. Hope you have a great time and whatever you do, make sure you do it safely and responsibly. :drinking05:

Yeah, I heard that too Hamid jaan. I think they've just lost their mind over there. I mean, the majority of trousits that go there, go because of the sex and drugs not the Van Gogh museum! They're not really set up to accomodate the other groups and that's one of the reasons I didn't really like it there.

Don't get me wrong, I like sex and drugs as much as the next guy :dancing1:, but when you go with your partner and you're not in your 20's anymore, you just want to find some cozy little cafe/bar and try the local food, pastries or beer, hang out with some locals and talk BS - I mean how much weed can someone smoke to make it worth his/her while to travel to another country, if they get rid of the RLD too?!

And IMHO as far as cafes, good food, pastries and drinks go, plus some fun cultural or seaside stuff to do, there are dozens of cities in Europe that beat out Amsterdam on their worst days. People in Amsterdam are some of the least friendly and snobbiest people I've met in Europe and this whole new drive to clean Amsterdam up is like trying to get rid of gambling in Vegas! :drinking05:
