With the new name suggestion time being finnished, it's time for selection.
So please no new suggestions everyone.

Please go through The whole list with care and select 6 of your very favorite names for this site. Then you can illustrate which one is your most favorite by rating them from 1 to 5 (5 being the highest).

As said before, I have only picked the names which are not "directly" related to football and also do not already exist.

Next Sunday, April 26 (when Behrou blows his whistle), we will stop the selection and then we'll count the rates. The name with the highest point will be selected as the name of the site.

lets remember that our target audience is Iranians, so having an Iranian name might be an advantage as apposed to a disadvantage in this case. The name has to be catchy in my opinion, and should advertise itself (with humor or Irony or Nostalgia). Thats the reasoning behind my ranking anyways.

LOOOOOOOOL. i didn't even realize that I did that. I don't have an azari accent when i speak farsi, but just once in a while it likes to make itself known (for example anytime i say the word Paakestaan mid-sentence, it comes out as Paaachistaan).

Ali jan, what was the final count? Just curious...

PJ jan, many people hadn't even rate their selections so I didn't count them in and many others had given 6 points of 5 allowed, so I reduced the 6 to 5. Hence it gave a 31 points to iranian corner.

Iranzaminforums had: 17 points
borobiya: 10 points
Weranians: 7 points

I think you did a great job administering this thread. Do you want to do one for logo submissions and we also rate them, vote on them or whatever you come up with. If we can have this step wraped up by next Sunday, we'll be a totally new site in a week (I think realistically, that's how much time the Admins will need to do the technical aspects of the swith-over).

We need an actual logo designer though, I for one just did things on paint, they need to be professionally done.

I actually liked some of your design Kasra jaan. I think if you spend a little more time on a couple of them and throw them up for a vote, we can consider you the professional. As much as I like Commander Data, I may even be willing to call you Da Vinci or Picasso from now on (whichever you like). ;)

does it have to be any specific size? the banner and the logo...

We can always resize it Amir jaan, but it would basically have to look good at the size for the Vbulletin logon on the top right hand of the page.
