Shojaei scored the first and only goal and also osasuna's first goal of the season in a friendly against Cadiz that ended in a 1-1. Osa played two almost completly differeny in both halves and Masoud started in the first one on the left wing.

Masoud scored osa's first and only goal from a cross delivered by Dandy in the 39th minute.

Nekou is said to be recovering from Chicken Pox in Iran. Osasuna's officials still have not announced when the Iranian midfielder will be able to travel to Pamplona.

I hope Osasuna has bought some quality players for this season or else they could relegate this time. Does anybody know about their transfers?

I think they sold more than they bought and not for that high prices either, Osa doesnt really have a wealthy club, they need atleast 1 quality striker IMO but I dont know if they are trying to get one or not, without anyone new relegation is very much possible, if not likely. Also one of their players recently had a case of Mexican flu, they say he had been isolated at time and there are no further infections.

So they got a striker, but I dont think this is exactly the level they needed, dont know him to judge though. But not knowing him may say something.

An interview he had shortly after he arrived from Iran on 24 july or somewhere close to that date. I tried translating it, but it may a little messy at times.

The iranian player met up with his colleages in Jerz and has already had some training with his team.

Masoud has joined the group in Jerez. The iranian player was permitted to join the coaches on July 24th, after enjoying a short vacation, a vacation that started later bc of international commitments

After 18 hours of travel, masoud met up in Jerez and has participated in the evening training. His trip to Andalucia becan at 12 o'clock yesterday, when he took a flight from Iran to Frankfurt, From Frankfurt he has flown to madrid and caught another flight at barajas airport to Jerez, where he arrived at 18;20 hours.

The attacker of Los Rojillos (The little red ones) was installed in the Hotel and participated in the afternoon training with the group. While his trainingwork was less intense than his teammates' for he arrived quite tired. He did some running and several exercises in the gym and tomorrow he will probably commence normal training like with his peers.

" He has also met his two new companions, Calleja and Aranda and said that "these are two good players who will give strength to the team." (I doubt he knows them though :D )

Personally he looks forward to his 2nd season at Osasuna : "I believe it will be an easy year for me, because I adapted and I have more built up better understanding with all the players. I also think it will be a very good season for the team. We have kept most of our team of last year and I think that is very important. Furthermore I hope to start at home against Villareal."

Finally, he spoke of his holiday in Iran: "I was in Tehran with my family. Having to say goodbye is hard, but I am also glad to see the team. "

He had been in direct contact with Nekounam in the last few days (I hope he then already has had Chicken Pox :D ) and brings good news about his recovery from Chicken Pox. "He was feeling bad, but is feeling better now and I think he may come back soon to Pamplona. I also said hello to everyone on his behalve ”.
