Bi-Honar 08-04-2009, 03:20 PM Well, whatever the reason was, the world media's all over this one and I'm sure that neither AN nor Khamenei will be immune from hearing this perspective. There certainly exists a rift between these two and now it's out on the open and public. This was a very important event and even if AN had a cold, the fact that there was no co-ordination, or that the message was not conveyed to Khamenei, confirms that their relationship is not as they WERE trying to portray publicly. Khamenei must feel snubeed by the gesture and I'm sure this is a sign of a growing rift between the two and their respective camps (i.e. clergy and IRGC).
