iCube - Amazing 3D Immersion Technology!
http://www.media.allerinternett.no/php/obj.phpi?o=3031017&w=625&h=0&ee=1240313305
Here’s a quick news about this new technology from IDEO Labs which is called iCube. As what I’ve comprehend on the video and on other articles, iCube is a virtual reality system which is made up of 3 white walls and 1 floor. Onto these surfaces, the system projects high-resolution, stereoscopic (three-dimensional effect) images. Basically, the viewer of this virtual world will be standing between the walls wearing a polarized 3D glasses.
Here’s the video demonstrating the iCube technology. Sadly we cannot see how iCube really looks like wearing those polarize 3D glasses. Rather we can see someone viewing it. But it is still amazing to watch this video and see how the viewer reacts on the projected images. I think what he is seeing truly looks realistic, based on his body reactions.
