One of the most exciting F1 races I’ve ever watched.
I will start with the breathtaking beauty of Valencia in Spanish Riviera, man some people really live in heaven.
Greatest story is the performance of Luca Badoer (بدآور), firstly he qualified about 2 seconds slower than the last driver, and during midrace he skips over and let Grosjean pass him in the pit lane for Christ sake. His fastest lap was 01:42 while almost every one was doing under 01:40, I guess he will not have a seat in SPA. Hope Fellipe recovers and gets back in the seat by then, Ferrari desperately needs WCC points. But I think Ferrari will give another chance to Badoer next weekend, but sure it will be the last if he drives the way he did in Valencia.
Bad luck followed Vettel again with blown engine and he did not score any points this race. And 2 engines gone in 2 races the team have only 2 more engines to use during 6 remaining races in season. Kinda tough.
Disaster hit the Hamilton in the pits and he lost 5 full seconds because of tires not being ready for him, which put Barrechelo on the lead and from there he never looked back until seeing the checkered flag, he really drove a race worthy of win. Well done Ruben you deserved it.
Kaz blew a tire and Bob Varsha (American F1 commentator) said “I believe he had an unexpected puncture”, It is like we have any “Expected” punctures. LOL
I was truly impressed by Roman Grosjean’s performance, first time in the F1 car and he managed to make it to Q2 and drove professionally to the end.
Heikki could do little better, starting at the front row (2nd) why should he finish 4th when there was no apparent car trouble or pit stop blunder, you could occasionally see some brake dust puffs coming out of front wheels but he never complained about any thing.
Can’t wait till next week to see the Belgian GP and hope rain stays away as well.
A look at the Valencia Harbor.
