The replay doesn't show what he did after the foul and the kick. It looks like he kneeled on the Getafe player and then stepped on his ankle to make sure :)

It reminds me of one of the oldest tricks on the book. You go help a play on the floor to get on his feet and while you make it look like you are being a nice helpful guy, you pull the hair in the armpit! The fallen guy naturally loses it and lashes out in anger. Then you can look at the ref innocently as though the guy is crazy :D
