این سومین پیروزی تاریخ والیبال ایران بر کره جنوبی بود

تیم ملی والیبال ایران در اولین دیدار خود در مرحله مقدماتی بازی های جام جهانی در قاره آسیا موفق شد تیم کره جنوبی را با نتیجه ۳ بر ۲ شکست دهد.

تیم ایران با تیم های ژاپن، کره جنوبی و قزاقستان همگروه است و از جمع این چهار تیم، دو تیم به مسابقات جام جهانی والیبال سال ۲۰۱۰ که در کشور ایتالیا برگزار خواهد شد، راه پیدا خواهند کرد.

تیم ایران ست های اول و سوم بازی را با نتایج ۲۵ بر ۱۹ و ۲۵ بر ۱۸ به حریف قدرتمند خود واگذار کرد، اما موفق شد در ست های دوم و چهارم با نتایج ۲۵ بر ۲۲ و ۲۵ بر ۱۷ پیروز شود.

در ست پنجم که برنده بازی را تعیین می کرد، ابتدا تیم کره جنوبی با نتیجه ۹ بر ۶ پیش افتاد، اما در نهایت این تیم ایران بود که توانست با نتیجه ۱۵ بر ۱۲ در این ست و در کل بازی پیروز شود.

علیرضا نادی، کاپیتان ایران، و محمد موسوی دو بازیکن روی تور ایران بودند که در مجموع ۳۳ امتیاز بدست آوردند و سرویس ها و آبشارهای قدرتمند محمد محمدکاظم نیز یکی از عوامل مهم پیروزی ایران بود.

حسین مدنی، سرمربی تیم ایران، بعد از بازی گفت از نتیجه بازی راضی است، ولی به عقیده او بازیکنانش می توانستند دست کم ۲۰ درصد بهتر از این بازی کنند.

این پیروزی، سومین پیروزی تاریخ والیبال ایران بر تیم کره جنوبی بود. پیش از این، ایران یک بار در رقابت های انتخابی المپیک ۲۰۰۴ پکن با نتیجه ۳ بر صفر و یک بار در نخستین دوره مسابقات قهرمانی والیبال آسیا در سال ۲۰۰۸با نتیجه ۳ بر ۲ کره جنوبی را شکست داده بود.

با این پیروزی بخت ایران برای صعود به مسابقات جام جهانی ۲۰۱۰ ایتالیا بیشتر شد.

در دیگر بازی این گروه، دو تیم ژاپن و قزاقستان به دیدار هم رفتند که تیم ژاپن موفق شد با نتیجه ۳ بر یک پیروز شود. بازی های این گروه در شهر کوماکی ژاپن برگزار می شود.

تیم ایران در دومین بازی گروهی خود صبح شنبه با ژاپن روبرو خواهد شد. تیمی که در این دیدار برنده شود، به احتمال زیاد یکی از نمایندگان قاره اسیا در مسابقات جهخانی خواهد بود.

بازی سوم ایران روز یکشنبه و با تیم قزاقستان است.

Defending champion Iran has defeated Spain in its first match in the second round of the Youth Volleyball World Championships.

The Iranian squad beat Spain 3-1 (25-15, 25-17, 17-25, 25-17) for a third straight win in the tournament, held in Italy.

In the first round, Iran lost its first match to the USA, but defeated Japan and Serbia to advance to the second round as Pool B's top team.

Iran is drawn in the second round's Pool F, where Russia beat Tunisia 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-20) also on Tuesday.

Apparently Brazil and France have been eliminated from the competition. So, I suppose they have a good chance. Russia should be tough though.

Russia lost against Serbia in the Semi's, Iran is playing and leading argentine 2 sets right now and will most likely advance to play Serbia in the final, and they have a good chance as they beat Serbia in their group earlier this tournament.

Edit: Iran won 3-0, they have a really good team and a good chance to win it.

Bummer. They had beaten Serbestan in the first round. Oh, well. Congrats to them for the silver medal.

They played much better against the argentinians and the ref decisions fell bad at the wrong moments and the serbs got away with sloppy play bc of luck, the boys were the better team but unlucky, I enjoyed watching them play though, its a talented bunch.
