Yes, we have to merge and change a couple of the forum names. Since we are going to rename ourselves Iranian Corner, it might make sense to replace "Forum" with "Corner". In this case something like "Global Corner" or something that sounds better.

serious name is good enough. cuz I need to do some religon bashing from time to time without involving politics.. hehe :)

While we're at it, could I suggest changing the "Fun Forum" to "The Lounge"? This name was once used by another site and I think it works quite well. Not everything that will be posted in the Fun Forum will be fun (like complaining about high fuel prices :NoTooth: ) but they will be things that you would discuss while sitting around The Lounge, relaxing ;)

Hmmm, why stop at 4? How about 7 corners? The number 7 has a special significance in Iranian culture, like 7 seen, 7 asemon, 7 darya, etc.

The reason for suggesting International is because I'm going to try and see if I can invite some Americans and Canadians and people from other parts of the which I know they've shown plenty of interest about Iran in other boards.

I'm good with any name changing. Let's just wait until Sunday (if we have corner in there) IMHO to make sure IranianCorner is selected. It's looking good at the moment :)
Alternatively, "Iran & International Affairs" without the word corner in there is also good and we can do without waiting.

How about something universal such as Everything Else? Very serious forum makes it seem like you can only bring up serious topics such as politics, the economy, or religion. Everythin else makes it seem like you can also talk about the latest movies or TV shows. You can merge the Love forum the Fun forum and the very serious forum into just one forum called Everything Else because it would all fall under that category. Plus that maeks it easier for members because all the topics will be in one forum instead of having a bunch of sub forum.
