Ba dorood:

The new street language in Tehran has a phrase as SAR-E-KAAR GOZAASHTAN.

I feel that I have been the victim of it by ISP!!!

As you all know, ISP forum has changed and has asked the banned members and those who left voluntarily to come back.

As it has been the case in the past, I was encouraged to participate at ISP's forum and threads (including Admin) directly, asked me to participate.

Since my registered e-mail address had changed, I could not update my password so I sent a message to the admin.

I got a kind reply with updates on my account. I followed the instruction but I am still unable to post or reply.

Somehow, this feeling brew inside of me that I am chasing for the wild goose or SAR-E-KAAR Gozaashtanam!!

I hope that I am wrong but can't help the feeling that I get about ISP!!

I hardly had any participation there before I was banned for attacking Islamic Rip-off!! As, you know, I could not be banned for abusive language but being abusive towards Islamic Rip-Off. :)

Has any of the members here ever felt this SAR-E-KAARI by ISP before?

Oldman jan, Pooya asked about you in the thread where everyone was remembering the old members who had left. So, I doubt that they want to put you on the work (sare kar bezaran). It is probably some technical problem with their forum. Just email them your problem and it should get resolved soon.

Dorood Oldman jaan and I agree with PJ because I saw the post where he was asking about you. We occasionally have login problems too and it doesn't mean we want to keep people out intentionally. The system sometimes has a mind of its own!

BTW and with your permission, I'm moving this thread to the Site Discussions Forum. It would be nice to keep all site discussions, whether about this one or others in the correct forum and all in once place, so the Global forum doesn't become confusing...

Ba dorood:

As I stated, it is just a feeling not a certainty.

I have contacted (e-mailed) the admin and expect it to be resolved.

It was just a feeling and mixing today's language of Tehran's streets was interesting to myself!!

I am using some of the phrases everyday!!!

I have a book on it so I am learning.

I may be old but always YOUNG for learning. :)

Thank you for moving this thread to a proper location.

I am sorry for not doing so. I will do my best to adhere to this issue in the future.

No worries at all. We do occasionally need to do something or "mipooseem" as we say ;)
The street lingo in Tehran has definitely changed a lot since the 80's. My father gave me a few volumes of Shamloo's "Ketabe Koucheh" and I tell you, it has nothing to do with any "Ketabeh Loucheh" that would be coming out today!

I am glad to report that I am not SAR-E-KAAR anymore :)

I am glad it all worked out maybe this post here broke the jinx!!! :Oldguy:

I too have felt sar e kari - and later found out I was right.

I think ISP had (or maybe still has) a function that puts members on everyone's "ignore" list. A function that causes the only one to see your post to be you and only from your own IP. They used it on Bey first and later used it on me. I tested it - could see my own message from my IP's but not from my friends computers. Whatever it was is behind now.....

Masoud Jaan, if you want to find out that you are not the only one viewing your post ask others to reply.

BTW, I am assuming that my issue was system related and it needed some time to resolve itself.

Oldman Jaan - They no longer do it. At least not to me or Bey - but they did do it. To be honest with you - I was not mad even somewhat amused!!!

ISP is a toilet. Pooya is a dick.

I am sorry that some of you guys are friends with him, but he is still a fucking moron. He has intelligence but not wisdom which is the saddest part of all.

LOL. It sure looks that way on some days with these damn computers, doesn't it Oldman jaan? I almost went Medieval on my printer yesterday! :chekerim:

LOL @ Rasoul & Maytag repairman. Mr. A, I've noticed you have quite an affinity for these guys. :dunno:

K1 jaan, if the definition of being a "dick" was lack of wisdom, we might as well all be homo's living in Dickville (not that there's anything wrong with that as Jerry Seinfeld would say)! ;) I personally think Pooya has shown a lot of growth in the last few months and particularly in the last few weeks. Let's not forget that he's still in his 20's and this is not the best time to get a lot of exposure on a global scale. Every mistake one makes seems bigger and as someone who was called a "dick" quite a few times in my younger days, I can sympathize with that - even though my case never became global! He's trying to rough it out with a lot of intelligent, educated and knowledgeable people, some more than twice his age, so we do have to look at this conduct and level of wisdom in perspective IMHO.
