As far as I know they are still under custody, just like Roxana Saberi one day they will be used as barging chip.
Also there is some ambiguity toward the term "Diplomat", no one will be considered a diplomat if their credentials have not been presented to and approved by residing host government which so far IRI has failed to prove.

I was about to say the exact same thing as Motori. IR gonna use Roxana for that exact purpose.

Don't ask me to provide a link or something :), but I recall 3 of those dogs were released and 2 are still in custody.

US Special Forces headquarter was/is stationed in Arbil and these sepahis were there to gather intelligence and they got caught.
As you said some of them (3?) were released in early 2007 and the rest still eating free shishkababs and falafels.:D
