An experimental program took place in Chabahar, Iran in early April to relocate the coral reef close to Bandar Beheshti port. In the process, about 50 colonies of the coral reef have been transferred to a protected area. If the results of the experiment is declared a success, the remaining coral reef will also be relocated before the construction of a planned dike commences.
