Being an old school I've never been a fan of rap music, but Shahin Najfi (rap fars group) hands down has earned my respect.
The music and lyrics are astonishing, hats off to them and hope they keep going for a long time.

Yeah, dont really like his voice sometimes, maybe a bit too raw for me, but his lyrics are good indeed. He also has a new album, dont know if you have heard it. If Im not mistaken he is also gilaki, wich I like anyway :) I found out about him in another gilaki song, wich was partially him rapping and someone else singing cause I dont necesarrily listen to rap alot either.

Not a huge fan of Rap myself in general, although there are occaisioanl songs which I find to be masterpieces for one reason or another. As far as Iranian rap goes though, because of the often political and deep social issues, I've been quite impressed with its rise and content. The guy actually sounds a little like our own mamali (Brando). I don't know why he doesn't start doing Iranian rap - he used to do Danish and because of the people he knows, he'd do really well.
