Kaesra 02-16-2010, 07:48 PM Ronaldinho scores, his shot deflected by Carrick leaving Edwin no chance.

Kaesra 02-16-2010, 07:57 PM Another big milan chance , antonini shot goes wide.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 08:05 PM Scholes gives a backpass to ronaldinho, Ronaldinho against Ferdinand, Ferdinand fauls Ronni but ref doesnt give a Freekick.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 08:15 PM Another manu player gifting the ball to Ronaldinho, They keep think he is a manu player or something.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 08:20 PM Huntelaar shot wide Utd very weak defensively.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 08:23 PM Scholes score after a sudden very good utd attack. Lucky goal though, scholes scored with his standing leg trying to shoot with his right. Utd very lucky.
1-1
antonini replaced got injured during or pre utd goal
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 08:27 PM Ronaldinho outricked two utd players, shot saved.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 08:30 PM Good place for a becks free kick. They'v got Pirlo and Ronaldinho too.
Shot over. Yellow rooney cause he cant keep his jack shut.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 08:56 PM Pirlo free kick from a good distance, VDS saves
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 09:03 PM I dont get why Milan dont just get a good new goalkeeper, there is a lot of talent out there and enough experienced forces too. Not that Dida has fucked up in this game yet but he's a liability.
A guy like Cudicini or a talent like Ochoa or Fiorillo.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 09:08 PM Nani out Valencia in. Nani was terrible, but Utd has been pretty weak overall anyway.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 09:10 PM Rooney scores a nice header, Valencia assist, Good goal not at all deserved though but whatever Utd doing it italian style.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 09:18 PM Utd score again, this time deserved after the 1-2 they have been the better side, milan strength seems depleted.
1-3 Utd.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 09:30 PM Seedorf scored a beauty of a goal, should have started anyway.
2-3
Inzaghi big chance over.
Milan Alive again.
Kaesra 02-16-2010, 09:37 PM Carrick 2nd yellow, red carded.End of game
Milan 2-3 Manu
Ft Lyon 1-0 Real Madrid.
Behrooz_C 02-17-2010, 08:53 AM The seedorf goal pissed me off. It's taken a bit of colour from the victory but hey, before the match I'd be happy with a draw.
Rooney is on fire, but really, what happened to the tough Italian defence that the fans of Serie A used to rave about? Milan were shit last night. Both Rooney goals were avoidable if defended better.
Kaesra 02-17-2010, 03:14 PM Thing is with Rooney, atleast in this form, you always know you could get scored against even if utd isnt rolling, the guy does it on sheer will. And you shouldnt talk about defense behrouz, damn utd looked weak, Milan should have won the game, it was their finishing what killed them too, altough at home one should always try to keep a clean sheat or atleast concede as few as possible especially CL, you are through and I dont got anything against it, Didnt want utd without Cl just yet.
Behrooz_C 02-17-2010, 05:41 PM ^^^Well you are still in the FA Cup and I am happy you are there for now ;)
As for defence, yeah United are struggling, but we are talking about teh Italians here, traditionally the steely defenders of world football. Nesta is just too old. Rooney was totally unmarked on both his goals.
Kaesra 02-17-2010, 06:46 PM The Fa-cup aint a small time prize like the carling cup and we got knocked out of that one early enough if im not mistaken, but I do dislike the fact that ancelloti keeps using a lot of A team players in the cup, he is used to playing with oldies but its pushing your luck if you ask me.
Well like I mentioned Milan is a club that people have let go, its a club that hasnt been taken care of. It needed a keeper a while back, it needed a replacement for Kaka, it needs a good coach and most imporantly it needs rejuvenation. But your right the italians arent what they used to be and if the german teams perform well enough Italy might get 1 Cl ticket less. The serie A got f-ed up by the whole ref bribing thingy, the only team that profited was Inter and its the sole reason they are a decent team now.
Behrooz_C 02-18-2010, 08:47 AM United always try to win the FA Cup and field strong sides, unlike Arsenal for example.
But as it stands, we have a cup final next week and after that we have only the league to concentrate on domestically. Not that I think any of this matters much with the large squads both teams have. But right now an injury to Rooney will spell disaster for United.
Good CL games last night. Arsenal were undone by their keeper, who had a couple of brain farts. Wenger of course is complaining about Porto's quick freekick but I am sure if his team had done it he'd be having a completely different view.
Bayern - Fiorentina referee was totally influenced the results of that game. I hope Fiorentina go through.
Kaesra 02-18-2010, 07:18 PM Lukasz Fabianski had a bad day (http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/blog/sow_experts/post/Lukasz-Fabianski-had-a-bad-day?urn=sow,220379)

That's what Arsene Wenger said (http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11670_5954897,00.html) about Arsenal's backup goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski before Wednesday's Champions League match against Porto, which Fabianski had to start because of an injury to Manuel Almunia.
Lukasz didn't exactly live up to that potential under the smothering pressure of their round of 16 first leg match, though. He allowed two goals on what Cesc Fabregas called "schoolboy goals (http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news?slug=goal_arsenals_cesc_fabregas&prov=goal&type=lgns)" -- the first he knocked in himself off a cross/shot from the side and the second off a quick free kick that caught him off guard.
The only positive for Fabianski is that at least his devastating errors didn't occur on his birthday (http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2009/apr/20/arsenal-chelsea-wenger-fa-cup-lukasz-fabianski) this time. But that's like saying "at least you only shattered both your legs instead of being in a full body cast again."

Ovrebo strikes again, 'UEFA embarrasses city of Florence' (http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/blog/sow_experts/post/Ovrebo-strikes-again-UEFA-embarrasses-city-of-?urn=sow,220383)

Tom Henning Ovrebo (http://goal.com/en/news/1716/champions-league/2010/02/17/1795223/champions-league-comment-welcome-back-to-the-tom-ovrebo-show), the referee who cost Chelsea a place in last season's Champions League final and drove insane enough Didier Drogba to come up with one of the greatest catchphrases of all time (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article2416031.ece), left his mark on the Champions League once again.
After going a man down in the 73rd minute of Wednesday's match, Fiorentina held their ground against Bayern Munich and maintained the 1-1 draw until an 89th minute Miroslav Klose goal from a blatantly offside position was allowed to stand and give Bayern the 2-1 first leg win.
Now, the fingers can't point solely at Ovrebo and it's never fun to blame referees or their assistants for their utterly thankless job, but this was just too obscene to believe. Said irate Florence mayor Matteo Renzi, just in case anyone cared what he thought (http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news?slug=goal_mayor_matteo_renzi&prov=goal&type=lgns) about the matter:"I have never seen anything like it in the history of professional football. It was a complete embarrassment.
"[UEFA president Michel] Platini should be worried about sending linesmen out in good faith instead of remaining in the stands and smiling.
"Tonight, UEFA has embarrassed the city of Florence."
Just a tad overdramatic for being down one goal after the first leg, but point made, Mr. Mayor.
Maybe now, after this latest incident, UEFA will think twice before inserting Ovrebo and the growing trend of maddening fury that surrounds him into a late round Champions League match. Or, more likely, they won't and next season he'll score a hat trick for Lyon.
