Eagle jAn,
Thanx for the post.
It is beautiful model, The only problem I have with the whole paint job is the lack of the Tail number.
That plane is North American F-86 in IIAF Golden Crown Acrojet Team (Team e Acrojet Taaj Talaa'ei) scheme. When they were flying them General Khatami and then General Jahanbani were the team commanders. Later on IIAF switched to F-5E in which my cousin Capt. Amin Bolghand used to fly Jet tail # 2.

Here is pics of the whole F-86 and latest F-5E teams.

Motori jan thanks for those lovely pictures ,as a child we were going to see the golden crown acrojet team demo around Qom salt lake but the show was cancelled because of bad weather :chair:

here with the F-86 of the IIAF golden crown ready for take off ,that good looking guy is not me by the way !
:chekerim:

He is having a F-14 Tomcat build in Iranian colours and I have asked him to give it the serial number 3-6020 as a tribute to that particular Tomcat which downed about 14-16 Iraqi fighter jets during the imposed war .

Here the Ace fighter 3-6020 with her brave pilot (don't know his name )

How about Drones?
I am wondering if Uncle Sam would be willing to train a couple of you guys - so you can drop some Eyranian love on Akhoonds..

Masoud jAn,
Uncle Sam doesn't have to do the training. Although I'm not an avid RC plane pilot but still capable enough to pilot a drone to a target.

Soaring Eagle jAn,
As you know flying a scale fighter jet with an actual turbine engine in it is considered as PHD doctorate among RC community, so that gentleman flying the F-86 has got to be a member in RCuniverse forums. See if you can ask for his forum handle or email addy (if he doesn't mind of course) so I can get in touch with him.

Sure M8, any time.
Flying a Chinook is not as glamorous as flying a Fighter Jet or an acrobatic Extra 300S but freedom of not depending on a runway pays back.

Now I need to figure out how I could put my hands on a $40 million helo.

An Iranian Chinook carrying (sling load) a Douglas C-47D from Mehrabad to Doushan Tappeh in Tehran.

Thanks mate , I pretend I am a Douglas C-47 !!

Nice picture though , I used to fly to Dooshan tappeh and Ghalle morghi a lot from Mehrabad ,short and sweet up and down ........... on my Microsoft flight simulator !

and because I didn't know how to navigate I used to fly from Ramsar to Mehrabad using the Damavnad peak as a reference point ...

well atleast I learned to spell Chinook !
