==============================
A clear view that I like Comic book movies, but its more that these are the ones I will go to see in the cinema and that I search for comic book movies , they used to suck somewhat but Dark Knight, Iron Man and Watchmen brought up the level. I do watch other movies but if I dont know for sure about a movie I'll just wait a couple a months and download it or I just get to hear about it through friends or trailers on tv, those are mostly based on random, I try to watch comic book movies and movies by a couple a actors like Jim Carrey and Will Smith, I also like Historic movies, movies about great men/women and dynasties/kingdoms etc and ofcourse if a movie gets enough good reviews I'll try it out. I downloaded the old japanese movie 7 samurai a while back and still hadnt had the time to watch it, heard good things about it and will also watch nobody knows about persian cats if it comes in cinemas here or if I get the time to download and watch it.

Kaesra 04-07-2010, 12:35 AM I saw the pursuit of happiness too and would also recommend it, will smith is one of my favorite actors anyway.
Bi-Honar 04-07-2010, 01:21 AM I saw the pursuit of happiness too and would also recommend it, will smith is one of my favorite actors anyway.
Not a big fan myself commander (other than his role in the Fresh Prince and..), but I highly recommed Six Degrees of Separation if you haven't seen it. He is amazing in that movie and in a more serious role. The plot is very interesting, very unexpected ending, and it's also my favorite movie from Donald Sutherland (whom I'm also not a big fan of). :chekerim:
Kaesra 04-07-2010, 02:55 PM I'll check it out when I can, he has played other serious roles though; 7 pounds(didnt see it but heard good things about it), Pursuit of happiness (recommended he plays a good role with his own kid playing his kid), Ali and a couple that are between serious and funny. He can also make so so movies better, I am legend, Hancock and Irobot for example pretty much only had him going for it and he made those movies still be good enough to watch, not brilliant either but without him they would've sucked, when they hire him they know that their movie gonna do good comercially too.
Bi-Honar 04-07-2010, 03:07 PM TBH with you commander I watched 5 minutes of Pursuit of Happyness and couldn't bring myself to watch a minute more! For some reason it just didn't do it for me. "7 Pounds" was actually a pretty good movie and I do recomment it - had totally forgotten about that one.
Bi-Honar 04-07-2010, 03:24 PM One of my all time favorite movies (top 5 of all genres combined) is "It's All Gone Pete Tong". It's a very high-tempo independant (film-festival) movie with an absolutely inspirational story-line. This movie has it all and of course the fact that it was filmed on location in Ibiza is a great bonus (at least for me):
YouTube- It's All Gone Pete Tong - Trailer
Another one of my top 5 favorites is an oldie, but timeless classic, Orson Welles' "Citizen Kane"

And of you want an off the wall comedy, another one of my top 5 film-festival movies is the French film Le Diner de Cons (The Dinner Game):

OSTAD POOYA 04-07-2010, 03:29 PM I Just watched clash of the Titans. Eye candy as I expected it with lot of mythology but the battles could have been better and they should have gone more in depth with character building. Overall just OK and nothing I would really recommend spending money on at the theaters. They had these Gins (jens) that sounded like they were speaking Arabic which seemed cool and they rode huge scorpions that they used similar to a giant elephant that a bunch of people would ride. I am waiting for the new Robin Hood movie with Russell Crowe to come out. That should be a good one. The trailers to Iron man also looked pretty sick.
Kaesra 04-07-2010, 04:27 PM Yeah wanted to go check out clash of the titans, cause Im into the mythology thing too, but it seemed more like film to download to me and the reviews also show that it isnt a really "good" movie either. Will download when it comes out in good quality.
Other upcomming movies that might be good
-Predators; July 7, 2010
-Pirates of the caribean; on stranger tides; May 20, 2011
-Green Lantern; December 17th 2010
-Jurasic Park IV; No idea when this will come out but I look forward to it, it is in the works, they said in a recent interview they'll get to work with a new written script after the Captain America movie
Especially movies with special effects are getting better and better, 2009 wasnt a very good movie year IMO if im not forgetting too much, 2011 and 2012 should be good though atleast looking at the movies I know are comming out. You know if the world still exists in 2012 ;) :D
Bi-Honar 04-07-2010, 05:19 PM "2012" (the movie) Had pretty good special effects - some of the best I've seen so far. This Clash of The Titans sounds good too. :)
What's wrong with the YouTube tags btw commander?
Kaesra 04-07-2010, 05:37 PM Dont know Honar, Media tags were pedrams departement, embedding still works but you need to get the embed code on the youtube page instead of just giving the url, its just a little extra work, thats why the youtube videos in my posts do work.

where is the embed code in the new youtube GUI?? cant find it.
Kaesra 04-08-2010, 12:44 AM Its below the video toofan, you have to click the embed button for it to appear, its a bit of a pain and Im not sure why they shanged the makeup anyway
Bi-Honar 04-08-2010, 12:55 AM Maybe it's time to update the embed add-on in Vbulletin commander. I think that may be a little too complicated for Mr. Ped. I would have helped you out, but I'm on vacation! ;)
I think Mr. T, should look into it and make friends with Vbulletin. :)
Kaesra 04-08-2010, 01:50 AM It has no urgency, people can click on the embed button in google, I do it so can others, when updated to 4.0 every addon will have to be reviewed and new ones can be added, it is time consuming and the forum would have to be shot off for the time it takes so it needs to be planned well and anounced if possible.
Kaesra 04-29-2010, 01:29 AM Watched Iran Man 2 today in Imax and I must say it kinda sucked, I didnt expect it to be as good as the first but it was pretty weak given expectations, ofcourse it had positives and since we watched it in Imax the quality was good but it didnt really have a story/structure and Scarlett was just being hot but her char didnt do much, just not that good of a movie, not bad either but not what I hoped for and despite the title they didnt mention iran that often :D
