View Full Version : FOR SALE + Cl report Chelsea vs Barca Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 09:48 AM 57'000 Arsenal flags for sale on ebay, all as good as new, only waved for 7 minutes! Kaesra 05-06-2009, 11:12 AM LOL Damn thats harsh :D We still have a game tonight so I won't laugh to hard. To be honest I wasnt that interest in the game and only saw the second half, but wasnt that interested in it anyway eventhough it was on the tele. Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 11:51 AM The match was over before I had time to sit and settle. I was fetching my dinner and the next thing I know it was 0-2! Should be a good game tonight. I just hope Chelsea don't scuff it with too defensive tactics. Kaesra 05-06-2009, 01:02 PM Don't really think they can, but maybe thats all we get to do, by barca's strenght. I think it can go either way, I think we both could win. Did you see beckham after the 3rd goal LOL with his evil smirk and hand rubbing. Kinda sad for wenger though, with his entire match build up, he said we were going to see a fabulous arsenal or something like that and then its over in 10 min. Btw That was Hiddinks guy who played a good game. Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 01:20 PM Who was Hiddink's guy? You lost me there! United were dominant throughout, but I think the slip by Gibbs that led to the first goal was crucial. It sapped the confidence out of Arsenal players and the second goal just killed it. United know how to finish these games off. Their positioning and passing was top quality. Yes I saw Beckham rubbing his hands, even though he recently spend time at Arsenal training with them. He was a United fan as a boy as are his entire family. He is still a United fan and he always will be. Kaesra 05-06-2009, 01:28 PM I meant Park, Hiddink discovered him. The guy fights every game and delivers most of the time, also, No Big Big player but still good to have a guy like him. Doesnt give a hard time eventhough he doesnt play all the time. Btw Fletchers sending off was harsh. Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 01:40 PM Oh I see. Park is a horse. I hope he gets a place in the squad for the final, unlike last year. He definitely deserves it. As for Beckham last night: http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/86411215.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=17A4AD9FDB9CF19374ECC42B7A3FA40DFAC2EE1FD948C933E30A760B0D811297 Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 01:42 PM I think sitting next to him picking his nose is Flamini: http://i39.tinypic.com/29vmb07.gif Kaesra 05-06-2009, 02:03 PM And next to him looks like Omid Djalili, but omid is a chelsea fan so ... Btw I thought Giggsy was Hairy-er, did he wax:D Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 02:28 PM Wax or shave yeah :) Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 04:18 PM Joking aside: ----------------------------------------------------------------- Kenyan Arsenal fan hangs himself after Man Utd defeat By Humphrey Malalo NAIROBI, May 6 (Reuters) - An Arsenal fan in soccer-mad Kenya hanged himself wearing his beloved team's shirt after their defeat to Manchester United in the Champions League. Like elsewhere across Africa, Kenyans pack bars for English Premier League and Champions League matches, especially those involving Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool. Suleiman Omondi, 29, was found hanged at his home in a middle-class Nairobi estate shortly after leaving distraught from the pub where he had watched Arsenal lose 3-1 in their Champions League semi-final at the Emirates on Tuesday. "He took some drinks and broke down in tears within the final minutes of the match," a fellow bar patron, who asked not to be named, told Reuters. Police said they were called to Omondi's house on Wednesday morning. "What we are gathering is this suicide is related to the Arsenal and Manchester match," local Embakasi area police chief David Bunei told reporters. Bar attendants said they had to intervene after Omondi lunged at a man who suggested Arsenal would not recover from conceding two early goals. They also lost the first leg 1-0. Brawls are common in Kenya during football matches and there have been other related suicides reported in the past. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/feedarticle/8492582 Kaesra 05-06-2009, 04:22 PM Damn those guys tend to take football to seriously, although there's nothing wrong with passion. Sad event. Kaz 05-06-2009, 05:04 PM Another reason to hate Arsenal. :p brando 05-06-2009, 05:54 PM 57'000 Arsenal flags for sale on ebay, all as good as new, only waved for 7 minutes! The match was over before I had time to sit and settle. I was fetching my dinner and the next thing I know it was 0-2! LOOOOL. Yazideto Behrouz :D :D :D Kenyan Arsenal fan hangs himself after Man Utd defeat As Kasra mentioned "passion". I would call it, either too much passion or stupidity :chair: Don't really think they can, but maybe thats all we get to do, by barca's strenght. I think it can go either way, I think we both could win. Did you see beckham after the 3rd goal LOL with his evil smirk and hand rubbing. I think Chelsea will win. As Alex Fergy said. Barca will be missing Puyol & Marquez. Thats more then enough for Laashkhors like Drogba & Anelka :help: Regurd Becky. I wonder what he does if Milan meets United in a tournoment. If I was Milan coach, I wouldn't let him play ;) Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 05:58 PM Marlon jan, there is absolutely no way Barca will win tonight ;) brando 05-06-2009, 06:17 PM Marlon jan, there is absolutely no way Barca will win tonight ;) I know dadash :crybaby: Kaesra 05-06-2009, 07:50 PM Game started !!! Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 07:56 PM 1-0 Chelsea, Essien with a belter. Doesn't make much difference to Barca right now cos they still need a goal. I guess this is the match thread now? Kaesra 05-06-2009, 08:00 PM -I don't know I figured someone else would start one. Wow ESSIEN S-I-N K I L L E R Damn that was a goal, nothin won though but I just enjoyyed that goal. -Lampard shot over. Kaesra 05-06-2009, 08:08 PM Drogba Valdez one on one, valdez wins. Kaesra 05-06-2009, 08:09 PM -Penalty not given. Crazy. Alvez getting owned again by malouda. free kick chelsea, drogba almost goal, alves saves. -Corner, terry wide. GO 40 30 -Another chance drogba, goes down in penalty area, no pen IMO though ,atleast at first view. -Stamford BITCH. Damn they are comming down hard. -Iniesta shot over. -Alves yellow, nice for ya. If barca gets too the final he wont be playin it. -Lampard with a bleeding face gets a arm in his face. -How did essien even think of taking taht shot. Lampard looks fucked up, I don't think he'll go out though. -Messi gets away from cole, but delivers a bad cross. -What has malouda done with his hair, what the F is that. -Chelsea FK, touré defends, corner ...... Defended. -Half Time We'll see, 40 30, Welcome to the Stamford BITCH. Nothing played yet, the guys are giving a lot of mentallity, they want this bad. COMON. Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 08:46 PM Barca are passing better but they are clearly missing Henry. Is he on the bench? Kaesra 05-06-2009, 08:48 PM He should be. Kaesra 05-06-2009, 08:51 PM Barca try a fancy free kick, doesnt work. Kaesra 05-06-2009, 08:52 PM Chelsea comming out of HT less organised, they need to keep it tight, keep midd close to defence and play the right pressing. Kaesra 05-06-2009, 08:56 PM Biggest chance drogba, he misses weak shot, bastard just score. Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 08:57 PM -What a miss by Drogba! Kaesra 05-06-2009, 09:31 PM -Alves shot way over. -Good defending by toure. -Barca better second half. -Red card abidal, slight contact, I dont think it was red, mistake ref to be honest. -Chelsea fans singing adios to abidal. -Game didnt need this, I wont cry about it but it didnt deserve it. -Gudjonson and sylvinho warming up. -Lampard shot valdes save. -Drogba out, Belleti in. -Essien yellow card, deserved. -Alex yellow, damn suspended. -Anelka idiot, dont just go down atleast try a shot. -Wow even messi is losing his cool. -Hand bal should have been a penalty for chelsea that is, bad reffing again. -Damn Anelka aint doin anything good. -Pep and Guus joking around, pep not happy. -Alves worst player on the pitch. -4 min extra time, too much why 4 min where did he find 4 min ? -Guus excited. -LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL iniesta goal, hahahahahha -Thats it nice, woopdie freaking doo. Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 09:48 PM Ah man that was some finish! Chelsea are guttd because they think they shuold have had a penalty and I tell you what? It would have been harsh if it was given. Having said that I have seen refs who give that a penalty. Overall Barca disappointed in their final pass and finishing. I can't decide which team deserved it more. p.s. commiserations Kaesra jan. Behrooz_C 05-06-2009, 09:53 PM Marlon jan, there is absolutely no way Barca will win tonight ;) I know dadash :crybaby: brandoooooooooooooooo jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. You owe me a big pint of Tuborg...I did it again just for you  :chekerim: Alejandro Sosa 05-06-2009, 11:19 PM I'm the first to admit that based on today, Chelsea would have deserved it probably more. I would also say that Chelsea should have got at least 1 penalty(Pique handball..others were 50-50, didn't see Malouda thing a penalty, Eto'o maybe, otherwise, don't know) but like I said somewhere else, 0-0 was not a good result for Chelsea in Camp Nou. Did Hiddink expect to get away again with so much luck? Against a team that has scored over 130 goals this season? Anyway..thank God Hiddink is a tactical genius! :D Ohh...and today it was proved that Barca is all about Messi and guys like Iniesta and Pique are nothing. Hehehehehe damme agha behrooz ham garm for the jinx! ;) Kaz 05-07-2009, 06:50 AM I feel for you Kaesra jan. Chelsea were sawn off. They deserved to go through. I am gutted as if I were a Chelsea fan. The refereeing was a disgrace. Mad respect again for Hiddink whose team shut down Barca to ONE shot in 90 minutes. But that wasn't their fault. The game should have been over even before that. http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/5909/rthilfy.jpg raminio05 05-07-2009, 07:11 AM I'm the first to admit that based on today, Chelsea would have deserved it probably more. Hiddink gambles with playing defensively after the goal and he almost succeeded, but then there was Iniesta, wide open, in front of the net. Behrooz_C 05-07-2009, 07:33 AM Having seen the incidents again, the only clear case of penalty was the Pique handball. The rest weren't and most referees wouldn't give them. But then again the ref did send off Abidal for nothing so it kind of balanced out :) But what disappointed me was the reaction of Chelsea players, from Ballack chasing the ref to Drogba shouting into the camera as he did! It's classless and a disgrace. You have to learn to take defeat like a man, specially as a professional. Behrooz_C 05-07-2009, 08:06 AM After the match I heard Hiddink say that this was the worst refereeing display he has seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me please refresh your memory Guus: Byron Aldemar Moreno Ruales It's funny how things like this always come back to bite you in the ass ;) Alejandro Sosa 05-07-2009, 08:24 AM Having seen the incidents again, the only clear case of penalty was the Pique handball. It's classless and a disgrace. You have to learn to take defeat like a man, specially as a professional. Yeah, the more you look at it, that was really the only CLEAR CUT case. But it sort of evens out with Abidal's sending off. After the match I heard Hiddink say that this was the worst refereeing display he has seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me please refresh your memory Guus: Byron Aldemar Moreno Ruales It's funny how things like this always come back to bite you in the ass ;) Hhehehehehee....great minds think alike. When I heard his press conference, I thought about that too. And look, let's see it this way. You lead 1-0 against a team that sort of always scores, that is down to 10 and has a guy as leftback who has never played there and a centerback who has never played that position. What do you do? a) sub in a counterattacking quick attacker(e.g. Kalou) to score the 2nd, make use of the weakness and go home. b) sub in a rightback who incidentially is also a hero with your opponent because he scored a big goal for them. Thank God that Hiddink is a tactical genius! ;) Alejandro Sosa 05-07-2009, 08:25 AM Pique and Yahya were monsterous. is this sarcasm? what about the Henry yellow at Nou Camp that wasn't called, and the Abidal red card? No, it's bitterness. ;) and like I said above....it would be more fitting for various reasons to put Hiddink's face on it for he truely outcoached Pep with his last sub. :D Kaesra 05-07-2009, 08:55 AM I'll have to comment later, I really feel guttered, First last year now this, I don't know I might have been able to accept normal defeat but this .... Damn I really broken at the moment. Malouda was penalty not only in my eyes but apperently also in the refs bc otherwise why give the free kick, glasses might be expensive in norway, 1 50-50 pen on drog, pique pen for sure, eto not at all a penalty IMHO, Abidal sending off not deserved but seriously I would have rather have him stay on, its not like abidal was going to score or that iniesta was sent of or anything, Hiddink did his job, no mistake on taking drog out he shouldnt have acted like he was injured or tired, mistake on the sub kalou should have come on, or not only take drog out but also anelka and then bring kalou and beletti, anelka didnt cut it, he even made a stupid schwalbe, I actually thought Chelsea was going to forward to much after barca were down 10 men and didnt uphold the pressing like they did before, they wanted the second to bad and Im not saying thats wrong but if you want it then get it otherwise its just dumb, I thought highly of barca as being simply the best it is clear that they just aren't easily the best, they are up there but not that high as we all thought, remember barca does go trough but chelsea hasnt been beaten although it feels that way to us. I dont need to comment on anything everyone is entitled to his opinion and ofcourse alejandro and co are happy so I have to get past the anger I have at the moment. I am really annoyed and angree and probably will on and of for a while, but I should congratulate friends/fellow iranians, so congrats - to Sosa, brando, westie ;) , Ipride, Pooya ;) R.baggio and all other barca fans - to Behrooz, Sr.Alex, Mashdi, ardy,Pj,, Payendeh and all other manu fans - And im sorry for my fellow Blues, Mahbodz and Sith and ofcourse all others. I cant describe how bad Im feeling, physicly sick worse, really cant describe it. Alejandro Sosa 05-07-2009, 09:23 AM kaesra jan, thanks for the words... you are young and I'm sure you will get over it and some day Chelsea should win it too. Kudos to Terry...him turning out in our locker room makes me think of him much more different. next year with the Dutch Frank White you should do better and I will even cheer for you in most games. ;) http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/10_01/Rijkaard_468x275.jpg Sly 05-07-2009, 09:32 AM I'm happy Barcelona made it to the final as I really hate Chelsea (I rooted for Barca). I think Barcelona will win the final too (Manchester united are overrated). and I hope they do win! They need to buy la liga some credibility in front of the $hitty english teams. Having said that, I've said it a million times before and I say it again: Shut down Messi, and Barca is nothing in terms of effectiveness for 90 minutes. The referee didn't call for 2 clear penalties for Chelsea or else the game would have been over a long time before it ended. Don't be fooled by 6-2 results in the Real Madrid game people. That rather showed how aweful Real Madrid and their defense was than anything else. Yesterday, Messi was marked properly but in general he didn't have a very good game either. However, Xavi and company really showed their level of football in front of a good side. The fact that this Barcelona is easily leading la liga, just shows you the level of la liga these days! You can't find any player in the calibre of the young and in form Figo, Ronaldo, Zidane, Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Makelele, Gaucho, Rivaldo, etc anymore. The pool of the world class players is just too thin. BTW, that goes to Serie A too. Where are the in form and young Del Piero, Shevchenko, Nedved, Zambrotta, Maldini, Gattuso, Thuram, etc.? The talent drought is not just in Iran. Many parts of the world, including Italy, France, Brazil (yes Brazil), Germany, etc. are going through that which has lead to the over all shitty teams we are whitnessing today. Not the least, it has made someone like Zlatan Ibrahimovic to be even considered for a move to a team like Real Madrid, let alone playing for Inter (which IMO is a disaster for the world football to sink this low). No wonder english teams (premier league) have been dominating the world for the past few years. I hope this curse will be broken and some real talents come up soon or else, the WC2010 will be the most boring WC in the past 15-20 years. Alejandro Sosa 05-07-2009, 09:58 AM ^in ham 2 kalam az madare aroos.. I don't think the referee was biased at all. With 1-0 up and a wrongly called red card...that would be my last thought. But in the end, Chelsea were screwed royally and but for the ref would have seen the final. Sly 05-07-2009, 10:39 AM ^in ham 2 kalam az madare aroos.. Yeap... read carefully and learn! Alejandro Sosa 05-07-2009, 11:10 AM Yeap... read carefully and learn! I don't need to learn. I know already that you have no clue about football and you mistake it frequently with boxing and tennis. The fact that cutting supply to Messi is the key and the fact that a guy named Andres Iniesta, whom you don't seem to rate at all, scored the winning goal, is something I guess you missed out on, no? The fact that Xavi won the EC with Spain...I guess you slept over it and were watching Copa America 2007 or something like that. But hey, Robinho is a much better player than Messi. True story! Anyway, I shouldn't really bother, vali roooto beram. :D Albate hamishe yekkam porroo boodi. Sly 05-07-2009, 12:42 PM The fact that cutting supply to Messi is the key and the fact that a guy named Andres Iniesta, whom you don't seem to rate at all, scored the winning goal, is something I guess you missed out on, no? The fact that Xavi won the EC with Spain...I guess you slept over it and were watching Copa America 2007 or something like that. Porroo khodeti! First of all, I never said I don't rate Iniesta. Iniesta is a good player. He's a great young talent who "could" become really great (just not yet). he had "one" and I repeat "one" good shot during the whole game (althought not his fault) which went to the goal in the last seconds. Where was he during the rest of the time? For a player to be considered great, he must show himself a whole lot more during a game. In fact no other Barca player (including your hero Xavi) could do anything creative to get scoring chances during the whole game. At least not like they usually do in Spain. Why? Because their key player, Messi was canceled out. Cut the supply to him and the whole team will collapse. (at least against a decent team, not against Getafe or Real Betis). Having said that, the presence of Henry could have helped a bit even without Messi's open games. But even he wasn't present so... Second of all, Xavi won the EC with Spain, so? So did Torres. Why do you think Spain (after all the years of failure at international level) would win it now? It's not because Xavi and some other overrated Spanish players were the gifts of god. It's rather because of the fact I mentioned about talent drought in the world in general. Players like Xavi and company would not even dream of getting close to become a candidate of winning the UEFA/FIFA world player of the year award, 10 years ago. Let alone winning it. Alejandro Sosa 05-07-2009, 01:53 PM Porroo khodeti! First of all, I never said I don't rate Iniesta. Iniesta is a good player. Players like Xavi and company would not even dream of getting close to become a candidate of winning the UEFA/FIFA world player of the year award, 10 years ago. Let alone winning it. Because Torres scored in only 2 games of Spain, because Xavi played all of them, because the whole game was built around Xavi. That's why. Xavi is not a finisher or anything but he is a brain that keeps the game running with simple passing. That's why true great coaches of football like Sir Alex as an example rate him very high. That's why in order to have success against Barca, you need to make life hard for him and then everyone else will struggle too because he is the metronome and conductor of the team. Which you obviously fail to understand as for you football is not about team play, pass and move and intelligence but about fancy dribbling, goals and ugly teeth. But doesn't really matter...I really don't want you to appreciate Xavi anyway. Have fun with all those second rated Brazilians. And always remember that for you Robinho was better than Messi. :D Sly 05-07-2009, 03:55 PM It doesn't matter where he was all the other time. It matters that he was there when it mattered. That's the point about greatness. Messi plays for Spain? That's very interesting to know. I never said for Spain. I said IN Spain. Meaning in La liga. Well what mattered in this case was based on pure luck as Chelsea should have won the game. Only by seing Iniesta's and Xavi's and the rest of the players' games, you know yourself that they didn't deserve to advance. Well, he showed his great brain yesterday, didn't he? That's why Chelsea was holding Barca for 180 minutes, simply by making life hard for Messi rather than anyone else. They would have been successful too if it hadn't been for a bit of bad luck and bad refereeing. But that's football... Ps. Coaches usually talk a lot. You shouldn't take everything they say so seriously all the time. Ps2. Robinho sarvare Messi! :D Behrooz_C 05-07-2009, 04:34 PM My satnav is broken!!!! At least two of the Chelsea penalties were better claims than Henry's in the first leg IMO. Behrooz_C 05-08-2009, 07:39 AM Kaz jan, making a claim doesn't mean jack. The Malouda incident wasn't even a foul, nevermind a penalty. And the Drogba one was about a tough muscley man falling to the ground like a sack of potatoes the moment he realised the keeper was getting to the ball. The late handball was ball to hand as the Barca player had his back to the ball. The only legit claim was Pique's handball which should have been given in my view. http://i40.tinypic.com/doxohd.gif Alejandro Sosa 05-08-2009, 10:38 AM Kaz jan, making a claim doesn't mean jack. The only legit claim was Pique's handball which should have been given in my view. http://i40.tinypic.com/doxohd.gif See...that's my man! ;) Behrooz_C 05-09-2009, 08:50 AM Drogba the rapper :) http://rathergood.com/drogba Kaesra 05-10-2009, 07:13 PM Hahahahah. Behrooz_C 05-10-2009, 08:27 PM Yeah, second match in a row that they concede a handful at home. I bet they'll turn up all guns blazing at OT next week though! United need 4 points from 3 matches to wrap up their 3rd title in a row. The only team in history to win 3 titles in a row twice. raminio05 05-10-2009, 09:39 PM CHelsea's first http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2009/5/10/1241971433735/Arsenal-v-Chelsea-Chelsea-007.jpg Chelsea second http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2009/5/10/1241971435599/Arsenal-v-Chelsea-Chelsea-009.jpg Chelsea's 3rd http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2009/5/10/1241976335865/Arsenal-v-Chelsea-Arsenal-001.jpg http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2009/5/10/1241976336926/Arsenal-v-Chelsea-Arsenal-002.jpg http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2009/5/10/1241976337854/Arsenal-v-Chelsea-Chelsea-003.jpg 4th http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2009/5/10/1241976340540/Arsenal-v-Chelsea-Florent-006.jpg http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2009/5/10/1241976343155/Arsenal-v-Chelsea-Chelsea-009.jpg All kinda funny :DrEvil: ..... hahaha. aye badjense. |
