<center>http://www.payvand.com/news/10/may/Iran-Asian-Boys-Volleyball-Champion2.jpg</center> In the match held at the full-packed Azadi Stadium Hall, Iran defeated China 3-2 (25-17, 26-28, 28-26, 22-25, 15-7) and won the championship.
This is Iran's fifth title in the Asian Youth Volleyball Championship. The Persians won the gold medal in 2001, 2005, 2007 and 2008.

South Korea beat India 3-1 and finished in third place.
A total of 10 teams took part in the event.
