"It was an opportunity after 31 years to come out into the streets and say we don't want you. All the people on the streets were green [so] we were very happy, we knew we would win the election."

I keep reading that what happened last summer was "the first time" etc etc, that Iranians have pulled a finger out in the past 31 years.

Is thi the first time that Iranians showed a finger to Islamic Rip-off in past 31 years?

No it has not been in fact, over the years starting right after the big lie and coallition of KHORDEH-ELM Iranians (mostly leftists) with Mullahs, many Iranians realized what trap they have fallen and this number has grown over the years.

Mullahs did not sit idle either as they created the war with Iraq based on gauidances provided by Mullah Khomeini's advisor assuming in 10-15 years teh new generation would know anything but Islamic ......

But, they fail to see Iran is like an old tree with roots way deep into the soil that no ARAB or ARAB Supporter (Moslems) can hurt it.

You know what, an old tree likes a good wind.

The wind cleans the tree from its useless leaves.

Keyvon Jaan, I am sure you agree with me when I say everything is relative.

Considering irrelativeness then Iran has been through far worse in past history.

Who would forget Moghol's attack on Iran which was very tangible and amongst the non-tangible; I like to claim Engelstaan's FOZOOLI and forcing Reza Shah Bozorg to abdicate the throne.

So, we have had worse (IMO) but that does not mean that we have to go through anything close to what we are!!

Monguls wiped out Koranic Laws, and made way for Art. Ok they killed a lot of people, but ironically the Art of Iran was best at that time.

Look beyond what the Islamic historians have written. If it were not for the Monguls, you and I would know nothing of old Iran, or less than the Egyptians know of their pre-Islamic history.
