“Iran has been drawn in the toughest group in the World Championship. The U.S. is the all stars team and in my opinion they have a big chance to win the title. I believe that they are the hot favorites to win the championship,” Matic said.

“The Americans have so many good players in terms of physical and technical abilities and I think they will deservedly seize the gold. We are so happy to play them in a big field. Iran have a difficult job in Turkey against Brazil and Croatia who have so many quality players as well. However we will be there to play good and not be an easy opponent for the others,” the 50-year-old Serb added.
The 2010 FIBA World Championship will be held in Turkey from August 28 to September 12.
