With all due respect - I could not find anything interesting in the abc report - it was more propaganda for Dubai and some criticism about workers compensations. Workers in Dubai are far better off than any workers in the Middle East....... and that certainly is not Dubai dirty little secret -
Dubai is plain dirt and everything about it is dirty -
Starting with the huge conflict between what Dubai sells to the local culture and religion - to the fact that the whole thing has already collapsed in marketability. Dubai is/was just a place where once more the Brits fooled Arabs (and Iranians in this case) to waste their money - much of it helped western economies via billions in engineering design and construction management virtualy all handeled by British firms or other firms from the Brit commenwealth states such as Canada, S. Africa.....

I have to disagree with your view on dubai. I think that sheik of them is pretty smart & has made some very wise choices. for gods sake, dubai is a city on sand & yet its one of the most known cities in the world.
Many of norwegian travel to dubai as their luxury destination.
To be honest, I think most iranian talking bad about dubai is out of pure jelousy. cuz we see our country going down the drain with all the natural resources we got & we are knows as terrorists worldwide, while a city in middle of desert run by arabs is making the worlds tallest buildings.
