Iran defeated Spain 3-1 in the final game in Urumqi, China.

A total of 210 athletes, including 10 top-ranked athletes on the WTF Athlete Ranking, attended the event.

Iranian Karate team also won the Asian title beating Japan to second place this week , we sure know how to kick ass ! just don't ask for team work ....

This picture is the Iran team who won third place in world championships in Japan 1977 . some very famous people are in there . from Farhad Varasteh ( standing 3rd from left ) to my instructer Farokh Moshfegh ( standing 2nd from left ) and jamshid Salimi ,Aryankhoo ,Alborzi , Sheyzari , not sure if the one sitting first from left is Houshang Ettehad , one next to him was Iran coach until recently .
