The 2010 FIBA World Championship will be held in Turkey from August 28 to September 12. Iran is in Group B along with the U.S., Slovenia, Tunisia, Croatia and Brazil.
"The 2010 World Championship will be an introduction for us. It's a big experiment for Iran playing with great teams such as the U.S, Brazil and Croatia," Haddadi said.
"There will be no pressure on us. The U.S is the world's best team. Brazil is South America champion while Slovenia has four NBA players. However, we can beat Tunisia in our group," the Memphis Grizzlies center added.
"Without a doubt, we will show a better performance compared to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Our players have become more experienced during the last two years," Haddadi said.
Haddadi was a part of Iran team in the four-a-side Istanbul Cup. Veselin Matic' team came fourth in the tournament behind Serbia, Turkey and New Zealand.

Losing isnt a big deal if they atleast put up a good performance, they really sucked badly in the Istanbul cup, I dont think New Zealand can be considered as a highly rated BB country. Hope they improve.
