Breaking Comic Jam Update:

According to the Comic Jam sports correspondence in Tehran, the "legal problems" were caused after he trimmed his under-arm hair last season while playing for the Grizzlies. It was "deemed to be contrary to Islamic Principles", said a source in Qom who asked to remain anonymous because he was not authorized to speak to reporters. According to a leaked memo from Mashai's office, Haddadi was asked to report to Hojattoleslam Dolladoost, head of the Friday Prayers in Qazvin, before he was given permission to leave the country. The memo suggests that Haddadi was to receive a detailed guideline "as to not tarnish Islam's image while playing in America".

Sources close to Haddadi however, who also asked to remain anonymous due to the sensitivity of the issue, said that Haddadi was asked to "disrobe" so that Dollakdoost could insure that the length of hair on other parts of his body was not contrary to Islamic Principles. The source refused to comment any further on what else might have taken place in Dolladoost's office, but Haddadi was "limping when he showed up to the passport office to pick up his travel documents" as told by a few witnesses present there who immediately recognized the sport icon.

When Comic Jam contacted the Memphis team management to ask about Hadadi, the Grizzlies team doctor only said that he was aware of Haddadi's "condition" however "the reasons were not yet known to the team's management". He refused to comment on rumours that GLBT activists in San Fransico had been campaigning for the Golden State Warriors to sign Haddadi to "better represent San Fransisco's diversity and create the conditions for only the 2nd player in NBA's history, after John Amaechi, to come out" (according to a well known GLBT site).

Thanks for the report. I have heard from very credible sources that CSI has been contacting Coca Cola company in an effort to find crime related tools. A message left for Coca Cola PR office has not been returned at the time of reporting.
