TEHRAN, May 15 (MNA) -- Iran’s national football team is to play Indonesia after the match against Thailand was cancelled, Mehdi Taj said on Friday.
“Indonesia has replaced Thailand and the friendly match (between Indonesia and Iran) will be held on May 26 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium,” stated Iran Football Federation vice president.

Iran was scheduled to play a warm-up game against Thailand but the East Asian team was not able to travel to Tehran due to its domestic league games which are underway at the moment. The Indonesian team will also play Iran’s under 23 team on May 28.

Iran is scheduled to play North Korea on June 6. The team will also play the United Arab Emirates and South Korea on June 10th and 17th respectively.

Iran is fourth in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers in Group Two with six points. South Korea tops the pool with 11 points from five games, followed by its northern neighbor with 10 points from six games, with Saudi Arabia in third, also with 10 points from six games.

I am watching kiarash jan. I don't know if it is my connection that is slow or it is from server but the stream is a bit choppy. There is a lot of hiccups.

Very nice game so far in the second half. First half they were defending with 11 players. In second half the game opened up.

Minute 88 Zandi scores again. He shot the ball and the goalie had it but it was too strong for the goalie and it went in.
Game over 5-0.
Overall it has a nice flow. Iran was working on going around the defense from the two sides. First half it was all right side with Kabi and Heydari, second half Khalatbari was subbed in and it started our left side.
The only problem was that the balls sent to the 18 yard of harif were not accurate, otherwise we should have scored 5 more.
Borhani ruined couple of 100% goals as usual. But overall it was a good game.

What a 2nd half by Iran. Khalatbari was amazing as usual. Definitely the best player we've had ocoming out of Iran since Nekou.

Borhani's still struggling in TM, but he did at least score a great goal this time and was instrumental in setting up the 2nd one. Missed 3 empty neters really badly (the furthest one was from 8 yards out and none of them were even within the posts!).

Zandi proved that he is TM material with one great goal and another goal which was more a goalkeeping error. Ando also played better than his last appearance in TM. Hopefully he can pick up his game even more and be an effective replacement for Nekou in the N. Korea game.

It was obvious Afshin has put the emphasis on crosses and we had lots of them, unfortunately most of them did not connect with anyone and were long. Much work needed in this area. Overall, the game should be a confidence booster for Iran as Indonesia had nothing in the 2nd half. More like what we would expect from TM playing the 135th ranked team in the world.

Ashjari, Bagheri, both Zareh's, both Rezaei's and a couple of other players have left the TM camp. Out of those only Gholam Reza Rezaei has a legitimate reason (he is injured) and Ghotbi has said that the other players will not be invited to TM again.

Yeah, of course Indonesia is always Indonesia. But for the past few years they would organize friendlies with such bad teams and we would tie or beat them 1-0. It is nice to see such score lines. Thank you for streaming it.

yes I agree on what Mr.Ghotbi is doing and about what he said about players leaving, but you got to understand that Bagheri is getting to his old age now and he cant heal as fast as the other youger players do. but others knew that they could not keep up with Ghotbi's trainings and so they left. I still dont know why Gholam Reza Rezaei left?
